Once payment is completed via WeChat Pay or Alipay, your reservation will be confirmed (currently available for customers from China only). If you wish to add extra services upon arrival, you can pay in Japanese yen (cash), or use WeChat Pay / Alipay based on the exchange rate of the day.
Same-day reservations may be available depending on our booking status. We recommend calling in advance to check availability. You can also make same-day reservations online.
Kimono Dressing
We provide Japanese-made rubber zori sandals. These rubber zori have soft inner soles for comfortable walking, and so far, no customers have reported foot pain. Please feel assured when visiting us.
For your safety, pregnant women at any stage are not permitted to wear kimonos.
We offer kimonos for children of all ages, from infants as small as 60 cm to youths up to 170 cm tall. Options are available for both boys and girls, including Shichi-Go-San kimonos, boys’ samurai outfits, girls’ yukatas, and many more styles.
Wearing the kimono, hairstyling, and getting ready to go takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour. The time needed to choose a kimono varies by person. Even with a reservation, extra time may be required before and after arrival for preparation—thank you for your understanding. During peak tourist seasons, the area around the shop can be crowded, so we recommend leaving a bit earlier.
You can change your package anytime—even on the day of your visit. Any price difference will be adjusted accordingly, with refunds or additional charges applied as needed.
No worries—you can confidently visit and choose according to your personal preference. Our kimonos are easy to try on, and our dressers will recommend the best styles for you based on your budget, height, and skin tone.
Yes, you don’t need to bring anything. We will prepare everything for you, including kimono, nagajuban (under-kimono), tabi socks, zori sandals, handbag, and more. All items are included in the price with no extra fees.
Hair & Makeup
We provide free self-service makeup supplies and dressing tables for all customers. For those with higher requirements, we also offer paid makeup services at ¥3,300 or ¥4,400 (tax included).
Hair accessories can be rented for ¥200 and returned on the same day or the following day. Regular hair accessories are also available for purchase.
We have a wide selection of hair accessories, flowers, and hairpins in-store. Customers renting kimono from our shop can use them for free.
We can style curls just on the top of your head for a glamorous look. The hairstylist will discuss the best option with you based on your preferences.
We offer free hairstyling with options such as side buns, low chignons, and curls. The curling style and ends can be customized according to your preferences.
In addition, we have a premium hairstyling package available for 1,500 yen (tax included) for those who want a more elaborate look.
Storage & Return
Same-day returns: Please return by 17:30 at the latest.
Next-day returns (free): A 10,000 JPY deposit is required. Hair accessories and kimono must be packed separately.
If there is no noticeable damage or stains upon return, the deposit will be fully refunded on the spot.
We offer free storage for your changed kimonos (excluding valuables). You can pick them up anytime during business hours or by 10:00 AM the next day.
For luggage, storage is limited to one piece per person.
Weather & Comfort
All winter packages include free shawls, fur collars, and kimono outerwear.
Yukata rentals are available only from June to September, with a wide selection of branded yukata!
In summer, we offer many lightweight kimonos and single-layer summer kimono options.
Brand-new yukata are also for sale, and we provide ultra-light lace kimonos for a beautiful, comfortable experience!
Cancellation
You can still enjoy strolling even on rainy or snowy days.
For rented sightseeing kimonos, we do not charge cleaning fees for rain or snow stains, so please wear them with confidence.
Kyoto’s charm takes on a unique elegance in rainy or snowy weather, making your photos even more stunning!
For customers who have completed payment and reservation, we can hold your appointment for up to 15 minutes if you are running late.
After 15 minutes, we may need to prioritize guests who have already arrived. We appreciate your understanding.
For phone reservations or unpaid bookings, no time will be held, and service is on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you for your understanding.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us at least one day in advance. Same-day cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of 3,300 yen.
